Meet Adam Mucinskas, DPM
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Board Certified in Foot Surgery
Greetings! Please let me introduce myself. My name is Adam Mucinskas. I am a podiatric surgeon who has been part of the medical community of Cromwell, Connecticut for over 20 years. My academic history begins at Assumption College in Worcester, MA where I obtained my BA in 1997 majoring in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, and minors in Chemistry and Theology. From there I attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA graduating in 2001 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. I then completed a two year surgical residency focusing on foot and ankle reconstruction and surgery at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. I served as Chief Resident in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from 2002-2003.
I am Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and serve as a clinical instructor in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with the residency program at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as well as the Family Medicine residency program at Middles Hospital.
I am a member and current president of the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association. I am also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and have served on the Advisory Board for the Connecticut chapter of the American Diabetes Association.
I maintain staff privileges at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT as well as at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT.
I am proud to be one of the few select Doctors in Connecticut to be able to offer the Remy foot laser and Aurix wound care technique.
I reside locally with my wife, Kristen, and our two children. In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, golf, fishing, and travel. Specifically we really enjoy getting out into nature and have visited over 20 national parks. So, feel free to say hi if you see us on the trail!
